What to eat in Ho Chi Minh City / Saigon, Vietnam

I rank Vietnamese food as the tastiest cuisine in south east asia, with Malaysian a close second. If you happen to be in Ho Chi Minh City, make sure to try as much local food as possible. The only tip I have is to avoid places that look like a tacky chain targeted at tourists (I’m looking at you Com Tam Cali!). Also, why are you considering eating at that Italian Pizza place, or the Korean restaurant in District 1? Go and eat the local food!

So below are some happy snaps of the food we eat while there.
